This past week just made my life so much better. I got hired at the Yogo Factory on Sunday and then the next day, Dave got a phone call saying that we were approved for our apartment. We’re in the process of buying everything we need so that we can move in by February 29th. I can’t believe this is actually happening… :)
I haven’t been on tumblr too much because I’ve been so damn busy. This past week, I’ve applied to a bunch of different places since I’m looking for a new job. Not to mention, I’m going through the whole process of starting classes for WGU. Plus me and Dave have been preparing to move into our apartment :) we already paid the fee for them to hold our apartment so that nobody else can have it. We just have to move in by february 29th. I’m so excited. If everything goes as planned, I’ll be the happiest girl ever.
So yesterday while I was babysitting, I got a phone call from the director at the preschool I applied to on Monday. She told me that they have a position open for a toddler teacher and that if I came in and filled out an application asap, I’d have a really good chance of getting the job. So I told my boyfriend and he ended up coming to watch the baby while I went to the school. After I filled out the application, the lady was asking me all these questions and then she told me to pick a day to come back for a “trial” day so that I could get a tour of the preschool and see all the kids and stuff. I told her I have off on Tuesday s so that’s when I’m going. I’m so excited!!!!! She pretty much told me I got the job. I’m going to be making really good money and she said that once I graduate college, I’ll make a lot more than that. The hours are perfect, too. I’ll be working Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:30. And the apartment me and Dave want is right down the street, so that’s a plus. :)
